Hey friends, my name is Danielle and I am the founder of Salt + Sage Co. My journey began when I decided to research information about my hypopituitarism. I was diagnosed with hypopituitarism at a very young age and this impacted EVERYTHING as I grew. I never really understood my medical diagnosis and I always tried to act like a normal kid, (who doesn't give themselves shots everyday). Later on in life I read a few books about my diagnosis and I learned a lot about a holistic healthy lifestyle. At work I met a friend and developed a meaningful friendship and I was very impacted with her holistic lifestyle. I went to a holistic doctor who talked about how impactful the foods you eat and the products we use impact our health and health conditions. I have another friend that was diagnosed with hashimoto's and another that had limes disease. All this was impactful to me about learning more about a holistic lifestyle, especially since I've been taking medicine all my life.

 With researching and reading books on non-toxic living, which opened my eyes to the dangerous ingredients present in everyday products. I was determined to make a change and create a space where others can feel confident in the products they use in their homes and around their loved ones. Also, as a pet parent, I understand the importance of having a safe and sustainable environment for my furry friends and loved ones. (Can't forget them ❤)
